Your authentic followers base suggests the default target audience. For example, Facebook will suggest an audience similar to your authentic followers as your target to display your content, because they have a higher chance to convert and become your follower.
Additionally, your account type is also considered when it comes to the default audience. The Audience Builder will display your ads to people interested in the type of content you created. For instance, if you are a lifestyle creator, your ads will be shown to an audience interested in lifestyle content within the default demographic settings.
If you don't like the default audience, you can also select your audience manually by changing the gender, age, and location. However, our beta does not support interest as a targeting option.
