Tell the brand as early as you can. Only the brand can move a date, so ask before the deadline, not after. If you haven't uploaded any content yet and a review date is less than 7 days away, you can ask for more time from the campaign itself.
Request more time
Open the campaign and go to "Content Upload".
In the banner "You haven't uploaded content yet and review dates are approaching.", click "I won't be able to submit content on time".
Choose "I need more time" and pick 3, 5 or 7 extra days. Add a note for the brand if you like.
Click "Request extension".
The brand approves or declines, and you get an email either way. You can follow it under "Date extension request" on the campaign. If the brand doesn't answer before the date you asked for, the request expires and your original dates stay in place. You can make one request per collaboration.
Product hasn't arrived?
In the same banner, choose "I haven't received the product" instead. The brand is notified so they can check shipping and update your dates, and your upload reminders pause.
When to message the brand
Message the brand in your inbox (creators.thecirqle.com/creators/inbox) with a realistic new date if:
you don't see the banner, for example because you've already uploaded content
it's your posting date you can't make
you need more than 7 days, or you've already used your request
If content is late
You'll get reminders, an overdue email 2 days after a missed review date, and a formal notice of breach at 14 days. Content more than 21 days past its deadline puts your contract at risk of cancellation.
