Once you sign a contract for a campaign, there's a clear sequence of steps to complete your deliverables and get paid. This article explains what's expected of you at each stage.
Following the campaign brief
It is essential to follow and execute the tasks according to the campaign brief requirements, unless it has been specifically agreed otherwise in writing with your campaign manager for that particular campaign. The brief sets the content requirements, quantity, format, and any mandatory elements the brand needs.
From signing to submission
After you sign your agreement, the campaign on your Campaigns page opens its "Campaign Brief" tab, with the brief and reference materials, and its "Content Upload" tab. From there:
Upload your draft content in the "Content Upload" tab for brand approval before publishing.
Your submission is checked automatically: content is analysed against the brief, captions and on-screen text are spell-checked, and TikTok/Instagram watermarks are flagged if detected.
These automated checks are guidance to help you catch issues before the brand sees your content, not a rejection. The brand still makes the final approval or requests changes.
Once your content is approved and published (where posting is required), the 90-day payment countdown begins.
Posting without brand approval may delay or void payment, so always wait for the brand's approval before publishing.
Deadlines
Deadlines are enforced automatically. If content becomes overdue, automated follow-up reminders are sent at 2 days and again at 14 days past the deadline. These reminders are automatic, not a personal warning.
If you're going to be late because you're blocked, for example waiting on a product delivery or on brand feedback, message the brand in your dashboard inbox as soon as possible with a realistic revised date, rather than staying silent. If you haven't uploaded content yet and a review date is less than 7 days away, you can also ask for more time or report a missing product from the campaign itself: see I can't meet my content or posting dates. What can I do? If you don't hear back from the brand within 2 to 3 business days, contact support with your campaign name so we can follow up directly.
Contract terms, usage rights and content duration
Payment terms (the 90-day payment cycle), usage rights, and content duration are set by the brand for each campaign and are fixed across all participating creators. This standardization is what allows campaigns to scale and payments to process consistently. These terms are not negotiable. If the terms don't work for a specific campaign, you're welcome to decline; your profile remains active for other opportunities.
The payment amount itself can be discussed on campaigns where the brand has enabled counter-offers, which is a flow available directly in the product.
If something changes after you've accepted
If your circumstances change, for example you can no longer meet a post date, the product hasn't arrived, or you need to withdraw, message the brand directly in your dashboard inbox as early as possible. Only the brand can move a date or adjust terms once a contract is signed. If you've already messaged the brand and haven't heard back within a reasonable window, contact support with your campaign name and we'll follow up.
